Disneyland pay??

Disneyland pay??

Postby Notorious » Mon Sep 09, 2013 1:05 am

So I'm planning on moving 45mins north of my current location in San Diego and that would put me about 25 minutes away from Disneyland. Im trying to get info on what the average hours per week is since I know they start you at minimum wage. I juggle full time school and work and any free time I have im usually at the parks. I was thinking if I could shift my schedule around why not go for it and get paid to do what I already do.. Especially since I already have recommendations from one of the higher ups at the park. It's just a matter of planning it all out

So any current/previous cast members here have weekly hour info?? Or what a typical week would consist of

Hey there! Obviously, I've never worked at the parks, but I found an answer to your question that seems to be really helpful. Tid is just one of the answers, but this topic on mice chat has a lot of good questions answered by some current and former workers.( don't think it's outdated or anything.) hope this helps!!

Answer: Starting wage is $9.05 and in my dept. there is a $.15 premium if you start after 8pm and a $.75 premium if you start after 10pm. I was told today that sometime in March we are due for another raise. Whether that is true or not I don't know. My hours are so-so. One week I can pick up 30 and the next I'll barely get 15. Naturally busy periods are when the most hours are delt out.

I would take it. Who wouldn't want to work at Disney?
