Futurama/Futurama Movies

Anybody watch Futurama? I love it, and it is one of my favourite shows. I even have Dr. Zoidberg as part of my avatar, and I named a Skylander after Hermes. (If Infinity allows nicknames, I may add a few more Futurama ones.)

I loved it during Seasons 1-4, but I think that seasons 5-7 lacked the same magic. (The same way as Big Bang Theory- there were less jokes about the fact that "this is the future and we're still selfish slobs", and turning more into general jokes making it a more generic show.) They're still good, but pale compared against the original series. I hope that someone picks it up after the re-cancellation...

Yeah, the newer ones are lacking something.
Also, I found a plot hole in one of the newer ones.
Fry drinks so much Slurm he turns green, and he goes to the bathroom, leaving the water green. Hermes then asks "Who Shrekked in the toilet?"
How would they know about Shrek? If the show is set in our future, Shrek would be long forgotten. And Fry couldn't have told them, because he was frozen before they were made. Add that with the fact that the people of the future don't know a lot about the past (They thought a pizza paddle was for spanking the delivery boy) and you have something that can't be explained.

I have recently gotten around to rewatching some of the Futurama Movies on Netflix, so I thought I'd share my opinions.

Bender's Big Score
I thought this was a pretty good one. I especially liked the end, where
Spoiler: show
Lars is revealed to be a time travel duplicate of Fry.

It reminded me of the "Jurassic Bark" episode, when it would occasionally show Seymour's relationship with Fry through flashbacks.

The Beast With a Billion Backs
N/A

Bender's Game
This was another fun one. The idea of the alternate realities and the Lord of the Rings parody was hilarious. Also, the big twist at the end where
Spoiler: show
Mom's son Igner is revealed to be the Professor's son
just proves that the show can be touching when it wants too.

Into the Wild Green Yonder
