Ant-Man Moves to Summer 2015!

For anyone who doesn't know who Ant-Man is, he's a guy who's dressed up as an ant and can grow in size up to 100 feet which is 30 meters.

It comes out the same year as The Avengers 2 Age of Ultron

Edgar Wright Teases Ant-Man with a New Behind-the-Scenes Image!

Leave it to Edgar Wright to know how to tease fans online. Moments ago, the The World's End helmer posted an image to his Twitter account that shows off a behind-the-scenes look at his upcoming Ant-Man. Check it out below!

"Now I'm back in LA," he writes, "it's high time to finish a little something I've been working on..."

As to what this means for the July 31, 2015 release remains to be seen. We're still not sure if the lead role has been cast or if this is some sort of special effects test, but it's certainly set to whet fans' appetites.

The film, which is supposed to launch "Phase Three" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will follow Avengers: Age of Ultron's May 1, 2015 release. Wright is directing from a script that he has co-written with Joe Cornish (Attack the Block).

Anyone remember that he originally wasn't a giant, but a miniman?

That's right, he shrank, not grew big!
Basically, exposure to Pym Particles could allow you to go both ways, shrink or grow.

Wonder what other characters they'll be featuring?

The Wasp would be a significant one, since she's married to AntMan.

Ultron, as the nemesis of Pym. might also feature as well.
But uncertain about that, since it might cause complications with Avengers movie.
But they can just keep killing him, since Ultron always makes replacement bodies anyway!
To explain, Pym series mechanoids have the means to transfer their minds out of their bodies into nearby computer systems, so if their body is destroyed, they just return to their home base and use the machinery there to fabricate a replacement body.
Ultron (and to a lesser degree, Jocasta) used this trick when their bodies were destroyed.

But is this movie about Pym or http://marvel.wikia.com/Scott_Lang_(Earth-616)?
Both of them were known as AntMan, when Pym stopped using the AntMan equipment, Lang got a hold of it and took over the job.


However, I've always had a dislike for Pym, he's well, a bit of an unethical hero.
So am not that interested in seeing a movie about him.

Also concerned that it'll be another Marvel failure, they keep making them lately.
Not that I would know from experience, I gave up on them after seeing Iron Man 2.
