Multi-Platform Muliplayer?

Is there a way for my friend with the Wii:U to play with me? I have the Xbox version.

Or do we have to use the same system?

Impossible, you must have the same system to play together. Some confusion may be caused by the toy box upload feature in which you can submit your toy box to disney, and if its content passes and it's selected, they could make it available for every console to download and play. But again, you can never play with someone on a different console.

Bummer!!

I bet they could figure out how to make multi-platform via the DI account usernames and such.
