Launch figure question.

I think there is only 17 figures released at launch because of the messenger bag. The description says it holds 17 figures and 3 play set pieces, which is everything that has been announced so far. It seems a very precise number of items to hold.

Hold out hope Rapunzel, but in the meantime, there is a rumor going around that Frozen characters will be making it to Disney Infinity to coincide with the launch of the movie this November. I have actually seen the screen shots that have them available for order. It looked official enough. That alone would suggest that 17 maybe available at launch, but that wave 2 may be on the disk as well.

from what I can gather so far, wave 2 will consist of the following:

Toy Story Playset: Buzz, woody, jessie, zurg

Wreck-It-Ralph figure(s)

There is seventeen all together including the starter pack characters and the playset ones because there is not gonna be anymore from now until launch.

I think so. I believe someone also said that 4 more figures (I think it's Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and Zurg from the toy story playset) might be released at launch.
