Newb with Camera question

So I was playing Star Wars 3.0 pack with my niece and i was player 2 and I noticed my camera was dependent on her movement. So whatever player 1 did my camera would move to it. Is there a way to turn this off? I felt like it was impossible to move or walk anywhere. Also the feature to fight the other player. Try telling a 6 year old not to throw you off a cliff lol its a bit rough
