How Do I Look Up/Down in Wii U Using Remote/Nunchuk

In DI 1.0 and 2.0 (Wii U version) I could look up and down by pressing the arrows on the remote (when using the remote and nunchuk). Now in 3.0 they have made it so holding the up arrow now brings up the tools/packs, and pushing the up/down arrows no longer makes you look up and down. I can still look side-to-side by using the left/right arrows.

The up and down view still works when using the Gamepad, so player 1 can do it, but I can not figure out how player 2 can look up and down using the remote.

Any Wii U users figure this out?
