Should I move to Xbox One for 3.0 ?

Hey guys!

I've been playing 1.0 and 2.0 on the Wii U and never really had any issues, but I was not big on building. Mostly Playsets and Toy Box Games.

So, I'm wondering if there's any Pros or Cons to moving to another console? I know I will need to buy the full starter with base even if it comes standalone this time, but other than that ?

I don't want a Xone VS Wii U flaming war, just real things to consider and facts if there's any to be given by people that dealt with the 2 first hand.

I would go for the Xbox if its a feasible option, you could go for the ps4 if thats better for you?

2.0 was slightly improved for Xbox one and ps4 so I would assume the same will be said with 3.0. You might not notice though if you don't build or play community content though.

I would, I want more friends to play with on Xbox One! Especially with 3.0!

I would not recommend buying a new console just for Infinity. If there are plenty of other games for Xbox One that you'd be interested in, then sure.

I may be a little biased but I prefer Playstation.
But if it must be on Xbox (Kidding, Xbox users are cool too ) then I have found that current gen consoles run better and have slightly better graphics. My greatest pull towards it is more toybox space and I know you said you are not really interested in it, but just get the Xbox One version anyways, I am fairly certain 3.0's toybox will be the best yet and you may end up loving it.

I'm not buying a new console, I own an Xbox One now... didn't when 2.0 came out. Rock Band 4 being only on new gen consoles tipped the balance. Owned a 360 and I have tons of dowloaded songs that will be compatible on the One so... that what's made me choose the Xbox One for the new gen.

I was leaning for the Xbox One version of 3.0 for the extra power and ram, but I doubt that a game released on so many new/old consoles would really matter on the wii U, which is still more powerful than any 7th gen console. If they make better use of the Wii U's tablet, it could be a good PRO for the Wii U.

I guess I have a few more months to figure it out.

Get the Starter Pack for Xbox One and then if you want, you can get the Digital version on Wii U.

I will definitely not buy 2 versions, both consoles sit next to each other on the same tv. But yeah, I guess the Xbox One will be my choice.

Yeah, you're not big into building. I like the ease of using the Gamepad for building a lot and then fine tuning on my PS4. The dual purchase of 2.0 was worth it for me.
