Caught in a Dilema

While collecting disney infinity through the stores and craigslist we wound up with 2.0 discs for the wiiu and the ps4 (1st world problems I know). The wiiu is only used for DI. I would like to purchase the saga bundle, but 1.0 was free on the wiiu. My question is, do I purchase DI as a starter pack for the wiiu and collect everything else from there while waiting for Boba Fett to release later on, or do I make the transition completely to the ps4? If we stay wiiu, we would have access to 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 all on one console. If we go ps4, then no 1.0 anymore.

the amount of content needed on disc is going to increase with each release of Disney Infinity. disc capacity on the WiiU is already restrictive

I was thinking that also. I know JV mentioned possibly free downloads later on for 1.0 & 2.0 on other consoles. I'm heavily leaning on going with the ps4 and the saga bundle. I hate to say it cause it's a fun little console, but if we go with the ps4 the wiiu may have seen it's days in my house unfortunately. Thank you for the response Sheriff.

@sheriff the Wii u is blu ray so 25/50gb like ps4 and Xbox one. The only console restricted with disc size is the Xbox 360

I had 2.0 on my Wii U but found it a bit 'stuttery' so I tried the Xbox one version and it works much better. Shame really as the gamepad features were decent

Yea, we actually just sold the wiiu yesterday. I noticed immediately the difference on the ps4. The only part that stinks is the kids can't go back and play 1.0 anymore. Hopefully they release 1.0. I tweeted at John and Brian they said nothing yet.

@wreckit with the Xbox one now going backwards compatible I would guess it'll not be too long before Sony do the same so it might be possible
