As a family we have been playing since Christmas but with work and other commitments I'm are not really rushing through so were only just starting the toy story playset. My kids are 6 and 3 and they just want to run around shooting things in the playsets and then messing around in the toybox a little. I have to do all the missions and unlocking of new items for them.

My method of play may seem a little ocd, but it at least means I don't have to level up all the figures at once.
Play through all playsets first (currently 5 down 1 to go)
divide up missions based on number of figures (not including crystals)
after each figures story missions play character specific adventure to gold level.
level up figure to 15 with fan method
repeat above steps until all side and story missions complete.
Starting with the Crystal Figure:
collect all capsules
open all chests in one sitting (never had glitch so far, could this be the reason?)
complete all challenges up to hard level (bring back other figures for characters specific challenges)
mop up any gold stars for playset

After the toy story playset I will get into the toybox figures (hoping to have everything finished just before 2.0's release).
My plan is to divide up the feats and adventures for the number of figures,(including Crystal Mickey if he ever comes out).
Use all saved spins to empty toybox vault
Build at least two original toybox's with each figure
Download and play at least 5 community toybox's per figure.
Complete x amount of feats for figure.
Complete figures specific adventure.
Open all figure chests.

My desire to 100% the game would be a lot easier with an in game progress menu. Ironically the game does keep track of all your stats for each figure and playset. This is how a lot of items are unlocked, hopefully this will be added for 2.0
