I'd say Randall because he has a really cool looking figure, and yes I believe you can use zero point energy with anyone anyway.

Exactly, I was thinking wasn't zero point energy just a cool looking grab basically? As in he picks you up with no control till you button smash yourself out of his control or till he throws you?

Neither...pick someone else, and then preorder the Villains Triple pack since you clearly want them both Syndrome and Randall.

Your best best for a free figure is either Violet or Dash, or Mater or Francesco if you are also getting the Cars PlaySet at launch.

Every other figure is available in a triple pack that, at least here in the UK, are priced at the same cost of two single packs meaning that you are getting a third figure for free.

I selected Mater as my freebie. Your other outside option might be to choose Woody if he is announced and available at launch.

^ i hope so! Anyway, I would go with Mater because I love the Car figures.
