ToysRus Trading Event Saturday

Toysrus is having a Disney Infinity Power Disc Trade Event https://www.facebook.com/events/900166753327487/?ref=5 Saturday, September 27 from 2 – 4pm.

Anyone know what the special sales/coupons will be?

They still have the 3 Figures for $33 & 3 Power Disc Packs for $10.

I visited the 2 TRU and nobody other thanme and my son showed up for the trade event. They had a table with a couple of power discs, including 2 discs that we needed and TRU couldn't trade them. Very disappointing of the whole experience.

That was pretty meh, just one other person trading and luckily we both had a disc the other needed. Also, in our store you could trade against the few discs the store had so we got another one we needed. They should have done a much better job marketing that event.

I went there at about 2:30 and it wasn't really a trade event. They just had a table with a PS4 and some 2.0 stuff and people were playing 2.0.

I went there at 2:30 with my 10 Winter Soldiers, and there was nobody there. I asked the worker where it's supposed to be and he showed me 10 discs 5 of which I don't have, and 1 was the Infinity Gauntlet RARE disc. I pulled out my 10 Buckys, and asked if he wanted to trade. He said 'yes'! Luckiest day ever.

I got to my TRU at little before 2:00 and bought some of the 1.0 TRU exclusives I never got around to getting along with one 2.0 pack with two rounds in it. My daughter wanted the White Tiger team-up most of all and that pack had two we didn't have but not that one. I only had two 2.0 dups but brought all 16 I had as I'd have traded any for the White Tiger one. I also brought around 10 or so 1.0 dups but already had a complete 1.0 set. Of course only two other people showed up to trade and they only had 1.0 stuff. I managed some trades between the three of us to get them some they needed and I just took anything they had for my 1.0 dups and even gave a couple away.

I showed one family how to look for 1.0 rares and the found a few for series 2 but not series 1. I had an extra Dumbo they needed so they bought the four series 2 packs they found with rares along with a couple 2.0 packs and we agreed I'd give them the Dumbo for two of the 2.0 discs after they opened them. Luckily one of those was the White Tiger one so we at least came away with that.

^ You did a good job IMO... made the best out of the situation. IMHO the Dumbo Power disc is still the best DI power disc... so I'm sure you made the "event" worth it for the other family as well. ^_^
