Anyone else's Target getting a "hard" lock on items?

Sketch I looked at the target ad closer and it does have a price on it so Walmart will honor it. But only a photo of the cars playset. So you may only get a match on that item. Not LR

^^ The ad says in black print "Cars or Lone Ranger playset" They should honor it for both.

I just came from target! They couldn't sell me the cars play set til 10:15... So I left. All the other items were able to ring up without a hold though. Also, toys r us didn't price match targets ad for the play sets. He said it was because theirs was already on promotion.

could not get my cars set to ring at target either. they pulled them from the shelf and said it was a global issue. took the ad and went to toys r us and they matched the price no problem.

There is a nationwide pull from the selves of all cars playsrt at target because system is reading street date of Oct 15. They will not sale them to you at all. Corporate had all targets pull them.

I told them it was a known issue at all targets and they sold it to me, but they had to put it as 2 Lone Ranger play sets on my receipt.

I had the same problem early this morning. Someone put in Oct 15 for the sales date for the item. They rang it up without the barcode for me since I was the 1st to run into it at this store, but then started pulling them from the shelves until it could be fixed. Good luck if you get one there today.

My mom was going to Target today to pick them up, and ran into the same problem, the Manager said they had to send all shipments back due to an error. However, they were offering the individual cars figures for $6.99 each on sale! So you might want to check with your managers about that!!

I had the same issue in Maryland. They rang it up as 2 Lone Ranger sets and then the manager went to electronics to investigate. I left with the cars and line ranger sets in my possession before I could see the result of her investigation.
