PS Vita starter on sale

Looks like Gamestop has placed the PS Vita starter pack (complete with black suit spiderman) on sale for $39.99. That's $20 off the list price. Not clear how long the sale will be on, but thought I would share.

That's also about $20 less than what Black Suit Spidey is currently going for on Ebay by himself.

Wish someone in UK would reduce it! There's no exclusivity deal here but all the places I look have it for £39.99

There's are pre-owned one here for £33, prices will drop pretty quickly over the next couple of months I reckon.

For $40 I may consider picking this up today. My son would like playing it in the back seat of the car on all the summer road trips we're taking. Thanks for sharing shades

I'm concerned there so little demand for vita games places will just stop selling it though. It's the fear of missing out against the regret of buying something full price that then goes cheap

I have $56.xx in credit at Gamestop right now, so I'll consider picking this up. Does anyone think this will drop even further in price though? If so, I'll just wait it out a while longer.

My concern is that, like the poster above me said, there will be so little demand for it that they might stop selling it altogether.

I would wait until after 3.0 is released or Black Friday. You may see a $20 fire sale.

Not sure we have the same sales in the UK. Prices fall after first month or they kind of vanish from shops. I don't think it's even in physical stores already

Yeah, the fact they're dropping the price suggests it hasn't been selling well and they are trying to clear the stock.

I'm tempted to get it because I want Black Suit Spiderman. But what I would do with the base, game, and other stuff in the box I don't know. Haven't seen any Starter Packs sans Spiderman get sold on EBay yet.

Wish they'd just release him a stand-alone figure already...
