Australian prices and availability

Postby Nibelilt » Thu Jan 24, 2013 7:32 pm

I thought that I would help out any fellow Australians visiting (or stalking) the boards.
I thought that I would make a thread were we CAN compile any pricing or release information we DO discover. Please share any information you find or new figure releases.

Yeah...I am always rather shocked at the cost, but they have to ship them over and the shipping costs for them is insanely high...it's unfortunate. But they'll still sell like hotcakes.

Hellz yeah they will.
I am debating to pre-order what EB have up now or if I should wait until the launch list is more defined.
I will get everything but I am wondering if some characters might get removed from launch.
Another issue is do you want them to turn up in the post without having a look at them, I moonlight as a professional model maker/painter and I will scrutinize the paint jobs.

I couldn't resist.
I just pre-ordered everything that EB has on their files for DI.

Darn, I should have said this sooner, preordering instore is a good option, if you want to. IF I recall correctly, their instore preorders are obligation-free(and I can say I've cancelled preorders from mine), unless that's for EB World members only(though you can become one for free, anyway, I think), or it's just a perk of buying so much from mine.
According to their site, though:

I want to cancel my order

Not a problem! Please Contact Customer Service on 133930 to confirm the status and eligibility for the cancellation.

If you think these benefits would be good for picking figures, it might be a good idea to ask your store about their preorder policies. Unless they're not very nice to you of course- personally, mine are angels. :P
I also preordered all the figures and the Wii U Starter as well. I'm looking forward to it. :D

I'm not 100% sure. EB Games offers preorders for literally every Skylander pack they'll be receiving and know about, though I've known that GameStop in the US (and even EB Games Canada) don't. I think they offer everything that gets placed on their website for preorder so it's best to check there if not instore.

I am an EB World Member and I can cancel if I want, so all good there.

It feels warm and fuzzy to after spending some time on the forums to open my EB Dashboard to see my pre-orders locked in and just knowing they are coming my way, ahh It's a good thing. :)
