4.0 where does the theme go from here?

My wants for 4.0:

* Swimming and boat mechanics.
* 4-legged characters (just treat them like "Cars" characters where they don't use vehicles).
* Theme park ride builder.
* Disney-themed playsets. Not just for new movies (but they haven't gotten anything but Toy Box figures either), but at least 2 proper Disney-themed playsets.
* More "Best of" fan requests. The Disney line-up for 2.0 was limited, but I thought they were all solid choices. I'd like to see that again.
* I'd also like to see the same lined up for Marvel and Star Wars. Same for Muppets. Kermit and company are overdue.
* More Toy Box games like Takeover and Speedway that allow you to use every franchise.

That's basically it. Just keep refining and adding content at this point.

I don't think they should do one major theme in 4.0. If I were in charge, I would have the following playsets for 4.0

Disney Afternoon (launch)
Rogue One (launch)
Moana (November 2016)
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (Spring 2017)
Disney: Heroes and Villains (Spring 2017)
Star Wars VIII (Spring 2017)

I don't see a major theme happening in 4.0, I get the feeling it will be perfect blend of all things Disney, Pixar, Star Wars & Marvel. They have already done a much better job of spreading things out even with the Star Wars theme.
My speculation is "Disney Infinity 4.0"

I personally would like it to be themed around Disney channel/disney xd/other disney games.

Content I'd like to see:
Gravity Falls
Kim Possible
Kingdom Hearts
Descendants
Club Penguin


Or themed around animals and marine life

Content I'd like to see:
The lion king
The little mermaid
Finding Nemo
The Jungle Book
Pocahontas
(Disney lost the rights to Tarzan )

^They have not entirely lost the rights. In fact, Tarzan characters have been showing up left and right in various things. They just need to negotiate is all.

I think the Tarzan rights are trickier, but not impossible. Rumor has it that Squaresoft didn't get specific permission to use him in Kingdom Hearts (or the estate owners of the property didn't like the treatment of it), so they lost all rights for future games.

JV has been doing pretty good jumping through legal hoops to make everyone happy. I wouldn't give up on Tarzan just yet.

I hoping 4.0 will be on general Disney. Like a Alice in wonderland playset, marvel avengers 2 playset and a Star Wars rebels playset. A even focus on the 3 brands.

Other then that I'd love a kingdom hearts like theme where worlds collide, and it's using Mickey, Donald and goofy to go through many different worlds. With side play sets in Disney worlds just screaming for attention like Hercules and duck tales world.

Those two worlds like Peter Pan and the like would work great I think with the infinity premise.

I might have to slide back on what I said earlier.....if 4.0 has a theme it has to be Classic Disney or should be Classic Disney. Disney Infinity: The Classic Edition would have playsets for some of the top Classic Disney movies/characters (etc). I understand that the term classic is different in everyone's eyes but if something like this happens we will see what Disney infinity considers Disney classics. I mean it is possible....One can dream....
