For me, I'm happy to see Sorcerer Mickey because I've always adored Fantasia. But I can completely understand why others might prefer different versions. That's the thing about Mickey, he's had so many incarnations that it's difficult to pick something that everybody likes. For instance, younger children are growing up with him wearing the red shorts and yellow shoes look on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and there's also the more stylised look he's sporting in the new cartoon shorts, but I remember him in the late 80s/early 90s when they were trying to make him hip and he wore baggy clothes and hi-tops. And that's not even counting the older looks, all the way back to Steamboat Willie. So they've obviously tried to go for a look that's classic and timeless but still appeals to modern audiences, and Fantasia fits that criteria, since the movie has been around for so long and so many people recognise that star covered-hat. With the Fantasia game coming out in the near future and the fact that it allows Mickey to have magic powers in the game that he likely wouldn't have as any other version of Mickey, Sorcerer Mickey seems like a natural fit for Infinity.
