Question about Toy Box Speedway

If you have it & I don't (or vice-versa) can we play together (online) on a Speedway specific track?

I don't think you can I think both players need it, however if your in a toy box and someone joins with the disc it might unlock the toys

In takeover you both had to have it so I'm guessing it's the same here.

Does the speedway expansion give a player more racing toys to create with? Are we able to create and share our own Mario Kart type levels?

There's not really any racing toys. It's just decorations from the tracks.

This is a fine time to introduce a tiny 4.0 request... ;)

It would be cool to have the "boost" and "charge-up" toys from the Speedway as Collectibles in the Toy Box (I'd wondered why the Cars' gas can didn't make it in 1.0). But even if they don't make it, if there could be a "Vehicle Booster" Creativi-Toy that could affect Triggering Player/All, then you could have any Collectible cause an up-tick in the player's vehicle boost meter, or alternatively cause that vehicle to immediately "go turbo". Any trigger could do this (Trigger Area or Trigger as other examples), but it would work well with ANY Collectible with the tried-and-true Collectible Tracker. If the player doesn't happen to be in a riding vehicle at the time, it would just be a no-op.

Perhaps the "Vehicle Booster" could even be a "Vehicle Enforcer" (like the Action Enforcer for characters), where in addition to actions of boost & immediate-turbo, you could toggle the monster tires or cause the vehicle to spin out from an explosion 8-).

What I'm really frustrated about is the lack of replay option in the speedway after finishing a track. As I type here now, I'm still waiting for the speedway hub to load back up... And when it does, back in the middle with no kart. Tired of coming second and having to wait ages to get back into the same race. It feels like more time is spent on loading screens / hub restarts than on actual racing.

I believe JV mentioned a replay option as something they were looking at patching in later.

Does the 50cc, 100cc, or 250cc matter with unlocking rewards? I noticed that if you get gold on one, you get gold on all.
