Is Speedway a sustainable expasion?

I'm glad I got it for 10.00 not worth 20.00. Takeover is much better. I've collected all the coins in 4 races and have unlocked mamby bamby wibble. No Elsa's castle, Marshmellow or King candy cyberbug still locked. At least in takeover when you found the 3 coins you knew you unlocked the toys, here you don't!

I unlocked those things when I won one of the 3 track races.

I am enjoying Speedway, but I also enjoy racing games in general. I use Speedway as a mental break when I'm working on something in a Toy Box. Also, my kids like to race against me and beat dad

^@Mozenrath1 ... I got the Frozen toys by winning the third cup. You get toys for each of the three cups, no matter what CC you run it in.

But do you have to win 1st place? In the race to get them Jose?

@Mozanrath1 provided you are first on the table after the 3 races you will unlock the items for that cup.

Thanks caspartt, that's what I was afraid of, I can't get past 6th

if it helps you can do it on the lowest speed and in the race without items.

I really enjoy Speedway but ultimately I don't know how much I'll be going back to it once I've achieved 1st in all races. As a single player game, I dont see much variation once youve mastered the tracks.

Having said that, if you play multiplayer I can see this being fun long term as every race will be dependent on who you are racing against.


With that said if I had to choose (ignoring the better unlockables for speedway) Toybox Takeover would win hands down. It's a much better version of the previous years toybox game discs. It's like Diablo light with Disney characters...huge win for me.

The best part is the ability to play any and all characters together in an adventure. Having Venom fighting alongside Darth Vader? Yes please! And I've replayed the first level several times....its highly relatable imo.
