2016 Christmas Wish List ;)

Postby goofyspaceranger » Mon Dec 21, 2015 1:51 pm

Promised my family a few weeks back that I wouldn't buy any more toys for myself until after Christmas ;). Continuing to be amazed with the content in 3.0, but I figure the sooner we post some requests to the franchise, the better chance we have for getting some included in the next release 8-).

10. Game Currency: provide greater increments of currency for Tower Defense games. Provide a variant on the Logic Gate (e.g. "Purchase Gate") where a Properties-set amount of character's currency can be subtracted from any trigger as Output, with a separate message of "Input Blocked" when the character doesn't have enough. Provide Currency animation to handle larger amounts of accumulated (or lost) wealth, akin to Mario Party Games (would look much better for example upon opening a Loot Ches).

9. Color Coding: provide further enhancements for color-based gaming. Perhaps one of the 4.0 Expansion Games could have various Disney properties for paint-ball contests? Add a Red Team Activator to associate with the Anger emotion and the Sith. Provide the ability to save the results of the Diffusinator on Terrain! Also need paint thinner option for removal. Area-of-effect Diffusinator/Color bomb, maybe? Color cannons?

8. Just Around The Riverbend: provide an increased set of river & lake pieces akin to the cave sub-category... T-shaped River Split, River Cross, Lake Side, Lake Inner Corner, Lake Outer Corner, River/Lake Mouth, & full-Lake pieces for a greater variety of waterways - maybe even a whirlpool piece as a Teleportation or Kill Switch option, maybe a Sloped River as a vertical alternative to waterfalls.

7. Track/Terrain Matchers: Provide new Terrain pieces that matches the slopes of various race track, or alternatively provide newly sloped track that matches the slopes of existing Terrain. This would greatly simplify vertical changes in track design without requiring the "Rainbow Road" effect.

6. Customization Power Packs: repackage sets of Terrain & Sky customization discs - say in sets of 4 like the new digital bundles, or even packs of 8 - to help console builders new & old experience the great variety of Toy Box themes. With the Vehicle Summoner update - maybe follow-up with vehicle packs, too.

5. Digital Synch: Synch up 4.0 pricing options between PC & Mobile ? Granted, PC includes Play Sets where Mobile does not - allow the Mobile purchase to unlock the corresponding PC toy without the Play Set. General idea: support "pay once" for the digital-only Toy Box.

4. Lost Toys: Provide a search for Toy Box Toys by name. Alphabetize the Creativi-Toys like they were in 2.0. Ensure like-named categories of filtering are in synch with the default/unfiltered toys. "Origin" by movie theme is one of the most straightforward - add more movies for this filter category. Ensure a toy that fits a particular Origin or sub-category is listed in it.

3. Social Builders: Provide the ability to follow builders, with message notification on their boxes & an option to directly go & play that new box. Limit the messages generated by incremental increases of Toy Boxes played. Provide the # search support across all platforms, not just the console. Provide a builder search on the console, esp. for your own boxes & builders who you follow.

2. Challenge List: Provide a chronological list of # Weekly Challenges from the Community DB, i.e. Challenges/Developer Picks/Downloaded/etc. - this would promote the weekly Challenges, the theatre, Toy Box TV, and provide a level of granularity on relatively new boxes, by challenge category - more likely to find something someone would like to play, since it's relatively new but also a category they like.

1. Character/Team Adventures: Mine the descriptions & titles of the last 3 releases of Toy Box content for character names, and prompt the player as an early default to Community DB play. Also provide mining support for groups of characters, e.g. Avengers, Guardians, Princesses, Jedi, etc. that could potentially provide multi-player adventures. Support #Player1/2/3/4 as a variable insert to Creativi-Toy text for adventures to more readily fit multiple characters. Consider other prompts that utilize existing filters, e.g. opting for a Web-Slinging or Flying game, or opting for a Racer, a Shooter, or Puzzle game based on the game genre.
Use the Force in Holocron Heuristics to program with more Creativi-Toys!
