Disney Infinity Fans

We are taking my son to the San Diego Comic Con this Summer for his 10th birthday. Have put a lot of work into it, he was most excited about visiting the Disney Infinity pop up location - hoping to get a new figure. He loves the game so much and has taken the news of it going away pretty bad. Any advice on some offsite activities we can talk to him about to get him excited again? All we know about was the DI event and the actual comic con.
