What Game System Will Your Starter be For (and Why)

I have the 3 most current systems, and I'm going to get this for the Nintendo Wii U.
I'm doing this for a couple of reasons.
One I think the Wii U controller will be great for Playbox building
Two my Sony and Xbox are about to get cycled out at the end of the year, and I don't want to be playing this a lot on a system that needs to retire
This game seems to be fun driven, and not graphic driven so I don't NEED to have it on the latest system
I think that at some point Infinity will do what Skylander did and offer another version that is backward compadible. I'll probably get this on a next gen system unless I find that I love the Wii U controller.
One of my last (and weakest) reasons for getting this on the Wii U, is that the Wii U is lacking some games right now and I want to have something that utilizes my system until better games come out around Christmas.
Great thing is the bulk of my investment is going to be in figures, playsets, and discs... so down the road it isn't that big of a deal to get another starter set on the new Sony or Xbox and just start using my figures on there.
So those are my thoughts... what system are you getting this for and why?
