So let me get this straight... You say you like the cars franchise, so do I. Now they have certain things that you can unlock... Do you have to have the car set to have the racing in the toybox? Is that something special to the cars play set?

there are over 1000 toys in the Toy Box. some are generic and some are unlocked by using play sets.

the Cars play set brings in the racing type Toy Box items banked curved tracks etc. if you want these type of elements then they will need to be unlocked by playing the Cars play set.

Ok so cars was an easy one to guess... Do we know about pirates and monsters? What specific things they bring other than buildings and ships? I heard that avalanche remade mario kart courses which would be cool to view, I think most my time will be spent making courses for racing.

This game just keeps getting better and better. I wish it had come out on its original release date.

I think if you're a fan of the property represented in a play set and want to explore the world, that's enough to make it "worth it" to buy one. :D
