DI as an educational tool...

Postby Elmseeker » Sun Feb 08, 2015 9:32 pm

My children are all much older, 16-25, but I have 2 nephews, 8 and 7, who live next door and spend most weekends with us. The 8 year old is home schooled and we are planning on getting DI for him next month. We will be using DI toy boxes to help him with his math and science, it's a fun way to learn. Thought? Ideas for lessons?

That's great! An idea for math is a soccer game. If _ scored _ times, and _ scored _ times, what is the total?

Or something else. Disney infinity has become powerful enough to harness a platform inside of its platform. Which is something I'm harnessing with two secret projects of mine. The fact is that someone can make educational tools in the toy box using the tools we are given. DI's educational use is something that truly should be considered.
