I am a parent and a gamer. I purchased an XBOX 360 just to get the Kinect Disneyland game for my girls so I could play with them. Pitty it was a junk game. Now Im going to replace it with Disney Infinity and fight the girls for the controller. May even have to buy another PS3 just to get a go! HA HA... Oh well Ps4 only just around the corner.

I appreciate the fact that we have an area where parents can go to discuss the game. I have a soon to be 9 and 6 year old. We start kindergarten Monday, and he is not looking forward to it. I think hel'll be okay coming home Monday and playing a little Lightning McQueen though.

@ Agent C
My 5 yr old boy just started. He loves it now at week 2. First day was a long day... just about took it out of him. He even upchucked a little in the toilet after getting all the way home. Little parental TLC and some talking about the positives from me and his older brother (9) and he was all excited for doing a good job and earning those special treats from the treasure box. Ice cream parties in class for good work did a good job too. :P

My 6 yr old Autistic started a new school in 1st and I was sooo worried about him adjusting. But he blew me away. He has been so good. I'm rewarding them for good work at school this year partly with new Disney Infinity characters. They are all stoked to get their hands on it too.

Good luck for your little guy and hope you get to see great things this school year.

@ axonometri
Thanks! I'm sure he'll be fine. He had open house. He sits next to a little girl he went to preschool with. Maybe that will help ease him in. I know he'll be fine. His mom on the other hand may not take it so well.

My 5 yr old plays and so far has picked up on it very well. He has actually figured a few things in the game out before me.

He doesn't always want to complete the missions in the Play Sets, but he likes running around the various Play Sets. For instance, once we unlocked the train in the Lone Ranger Play Set, he was done with the missions and all he wanted to do was ride the train while on his horse.
