Per Amazon: DISNEY INFINITY supports 2 player co-op play in ?Play Set? mode, and up to 4 players via local or network online play in "Toy Box" mode for HD consoles (Xbox 360, PlayStation3, and Wii U). Enjoy 2 player co-op play in ?Toy Box? mode on the Nintendo Wii.
I read that as PS3/Xbox support 4 players online, Wii only 2. - The image does not show the Nintendo Wifi Connection or Nintendo Network id as the 3ds and WiiU versions do.. so it wont even have the ability to download other players creations?

Unfortunately, I do believe there is no online function or capabilities at all in terms of the wii version. The good news is that once you finally do upgrade to a new console, all of the toys you get for the wii version will be usable on the new console. All you will need is the new game disc which should be fairly discounted if you pick it up used and without the starter pack. I can see how this news is disappointing for you, I'm sorry bud.
