Do You Miss The Power Disc Packs and Random Items?

On one hand, no, because I am spared a lot of extras (I must have a million Alice in Wonderland environment discs).

On the other hand, I did like trading events, and those are now basically not going to be around like they used to.

I also miss that it looks like we are not going to get "random" obscure items like Condorman, or Gus, or lesser referenced movies like "Rescuers" or "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" since everything seems to be theme packs these days.

Think we've seen the last of the "oddball" items as far as Power Discs go?

I don't miss the random/blind power disc packs at all. Evil, evil they were, lol.

I know this has been and will be a subjective topic with some liking them and some disliking them, so in advance, let's all respect each others opinions and keep the disagreement friendly. Thanks in advance all.

I don't miss the random blind packs. I do miss the depth of disc selection in 1.0 and 2.0.

The powerdisc i miss are the ones that i have yet to buy.
And the other things i miss are Powerdisc album for DI 1.0 wave 1 for 30 discs and powerdisc album DI 2.0 Marvel and Disney for 40 powerdisc holding.
And a Disney Cruise Magic Band.

On the flip side though i feel like a lot of those 'random' items were added to the toy store now or just in the game. i feel like the splash mountain log vehicle would've been a disc for sure and that is my favorite vehicle now. it's hard to say for sure but i think in the long run going to the non blind theme packs was a very good decision.

I bought 13 random packs from a specific series for 1.0. I ended up with 13 Tron User Control discs...So no, I don't miss them one bit.

However, I agree with Romulus that I miss the depth of choices.

It might be cool to reintroduce random packs like 1.0 and 2.0 but have them be visible so you can see what you are getting. Packed like the 3.0 pdp but random...

I'm with Sherrif Ben - I miss the Power Disc albums updated with current gen graphics. I do not miss the random packs as all.

random items, in a word, yes.

... and i don't miss the albums either for several reasons. i much prefer using coin binders to organise discs by type weapon, mount, terrain etc.

Don't miss the blind bags at all. Love the way they do discs in 3.0.

Although as stated above the depth of selection isn't as good with 3.0.
