Disney Infinity Fans

I just opened my Alice, mad hatter and time characters and none of them contained the online game cards. Anyone get these game cards. Is this why they announced the end of Disney infinity before Alice figures came out??

I believe it's more to do with the end of pc support awhile back.

Yeah, I noticed that when I opened mine too. Thought it was a mistake at first, but I checked the bottom of the boxes and it doesn't say it there under "includes" like it usually does...so yeah, no cards.

It's a shame too, I really liked the cards a lot. I never used any of the web codes even, just liked keeping all the cards together.

Yep, they still could have included the card for continuity even if it did not include a code of any sort. More shame on Disney, less of something for the same price.

Seeing as how the only use of the cards (aside from collectibility) was to unlock the digital version of the physical character you purchased, and that a recent update made it so that any new character used in a toybox on the console automatically updated your digital collection, the cards were rendered relatively superfluous. I understand the disappointment from the collectors, but i understand why they were removed as well. I don't think it has anything to do with foreknowledge of the cancellation, as has been speculated in other threads, however. I was surprised that Baloo even came with one.

They could and should have included the cards without codes on em' then, those who have been saving the cards would have appreciated it.

They probably just saw the cards as functional things and thus it never occurred to them that there might be people who collected them in addition to the actual figures.

Another disappointment. 5 figs to the finish line and stop cards, too. Uggg. Hoping we turn the tide with some positive DI news before the end of June...whatever that may be.
