Disney Infinity Fans

(Gee, it's been a while since I've posted here)

Apparently the online Disney Store will have this line of figurines based on the style of Disney Infinity called "TOYBOX". Interestingly, they will be fully posable as well. Pictured on the website were Rey (with lightsaber) and a First Order Stormtrooper, and the site promises more from Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. They will be available Nov. 3.

What do you think of this? Personally, while it's certainly not as good as having the game itself back, it's nice to see a little part of Disney Infinity live on in a way. I've always loved the Infinity style and am glad to see something more being done with it. Of course, it also just makes me miss the game even more. Bittersweet. Anyways, I'll definitely be getting these.

I'm not interested in collecting new action figures, but these could be IDEAL for Infinity modding. I've been looking for a correctly proportioned 1st order stormtrooper for my Finn figure mod since 3.0s release. Perfect...

Based upon price, I'd consider characters that accompany my figure collection that are not a double of one I have already. The whole articulation thing doesn't matter to me, personally.

No offense dude, but I think you're taking this a little too seriously. They're making toys using designs that they own that were insanely popular with kids...that's it. There's nothing wrong with that. The game is over whether they make the new action figures or not.

^ if Disney hadn't used the term "toy box" to describe the new action figures nobody would even notice they had launched. Disney are blatantly milking the memory of Disney Infinity.

And what's wrong with that? There's something new for Disney Infinity fans to collect, I really don't see a problem with it. It's not like the killed the game just to make these.
