I can't imagine that being financially viable. There would be such a low market for such side characters that they would have to charge $50 a piece to work out.

What is Mattel managing? They have no Toys to Life line.

Mattel has a collectors club where they release obscure characters that not many people care about for a reasonable collectors price.

I am a collector of Disney Infinity, the game play is secondary to me. If I could get non-playable characters in figure form, that would make my collector side happy. I do not need them to actually be playable in game.

I haven't followed Mattel's Collector lines in awhile, but if I'm not mistaken, they usually entail a bunch of standard reused bodies to dramatically cut costs. Don't see that working with Disney characters that pretty much all are unique. Your example - Pintel and Ragetti - would each require a unique sculpt that would be unusable for anyone else.

Also, they depend on a subscription model that locks people in to figures they may not even want. I don't see the developers of DI being interested in managing something like that. They are a video game company, not a collectible statue company. Their efforts go towards furthering the game.

Now I'd like to have the Seventh Sister Inquisitor from Star Wars Rebels (Season 2). The Inquisitor's light sabers are so cool! And her special move could be those creepy little probe things. :)

First we should get Hera.

I'm with Romulus, I don't like the idea of non-playable figures.

They have the 3D renders already available. They just need a 3D printer.

I didn't realize I'd have to defend my wish in the wish thread. I wish for figures of more characters that they will probably not revisit in the game, playable or not.
