6 Play Sets At Launch?

Nay, Sherrif has confirmation that there will be no more play sets at launch- just the Starter three and Cars. It's widely assumed that they mean six playsets are available in the first year of release, aka intial launch period. So we'll get two more this year.

Yes there will be six but they are counting the 3 starter sets.

It was always stated that there would be 3 additional play sets on launch. Cars is the only one announced.

3 is to much on launch. Problaby one in Nov for the release of Frozen and a second one somewhere between that gap. If you release 6 at launch people can't buy all of them. If you release them within a time frame people have time to save money. Quite a good marketing trick.

I guess I shouldn't assume based on stuff I only very vaguely remembered somewhere in my head.

Regarding if that's too many, if Skylanders is an indicator, maybe. People were too scared to do anything but buy all of a new wave immediately, since stock ran out so fast- though it became easier to find the following few weeks(Wave 6 of Spyro's Adventure aside). I'm planning to get everything on launch, but because I'm excited for the game, and I know that the Cars play set, the characters, et al will be restocked so I can get them eventually. I hope that INFANs aren't so quick to jump the gun. And don't feed the scalpers as much as Skyros have.
