Green Goblin, Loki and Ronan are playable

So does this mean Loki is part of the PS3/PS4 collector's set?

Doesn't seem like it (unless he's hidden), he has a spot on the base for him, but he's a Wave 2 figure, so most likely not in the CE box.

Great news! I'd have loved a Mysterio figure (him being my favourite Spidey villain) but I can't possibly pass up Green Goblin.

I too now would love to see plenty more Disney characters announced however, whilst I also love Marvel. Here's hoping they have plenty more to announce.

More characters besides the villains...
Am I the only one that thinks that means X-men is coming?
If they have another wave of Marvel/Disney, X-Men has to be in there, what else would they put really?
Fantastic Four would basically be the Incredibles except for Johnny.

Disney will likely stay far away from Fantastic Four, from every rumor I've heard Marvel is doing exactly that in every sense. X-Men is a toss up, Marvel can't stay away as it makes them too much money (far more than FF most of the time), but idk if Disney NEEDS to, especially without any X-Men animated show currently airing, I wouldn't be surprised by Wolverine and/or Deadpool figures though, maybe that can enter Marvel play sets or just be toy box only. But I think other than those two they have plenty of Disney and Marvel material to fill up 2.0 to the brim with content.

I think the best bets for additional Marvel characters are those featured in Avengers 2, such as Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Ultron.

Green Goblin looks amazing! By far my favorite version of him throughout the history of Spiderman; can't wait to fly around on the glider blowing things up lol. Ronan looks very wicked from his gameplay video as well! Glad to see that they decided to let the villains play in the playsets, now just wondering if they implement special quests for them too.

I've never cared about the Fantastic4, so couldn't care less if they aren't included, but Doctor Doom is one of my all time favorite villains, from anything, so I'm hoping for some iteration of him. Luckily for all of us, Deadpool, Wolverine, and Doom are all in the Ultimate Spiderman tv show, so here's hoping!
