If we're talking about hand-to-hand combat, Joker wins.
They both have skills in unarmed combat, but the Joker is more skilled in this art then Lex Luthor, whose skills are "barely adequate".

Also, there's no indication that Lex Luthor has used anything he invents for weaponry, whereas the Joker carries several disguised weapons with him.
So again, if it came to that, he'd lose again.

So Joker would win regardless of the terms of the match.

This is pretty intense, honestly.
Alright, I'm going to suggest another match-up, if everybody is okay with that
Spider-Man vs. Wonder Woman.
(I don't know any of Wonder Woman's powers, so sorry if this isn't a fair match-up, buckmana.)

She's Superman, but girly ;)
And no, it's not really a fair matchup.

I did my best to analyze it though, before my brain went into shutdown mode trying to calculate the speed of Spiderman's reflexes vs Wonder Woman's.

She's basically invulnerable and moves at superhuman speed levels.
Although not the fastest superhuman, she's almost up there.

So yes, Spiderman would lose, but only because she's immune to most forms of damage.

However, she does have an weakness that can be exploited.
Anything that involves piercing (bulllets, arrows, etc) or cutting weapons (sharp metal blades) will hurt her, not fatally, but enough for her to feel it.
If it was a battle with Wolverine, she'd be in really deep trouble!

Alright, never mind then.
And I would have said Spider-Man vs. Bat-Man, but "Death Battle" already solved that one.

How about the Ninja Turtles vs the guys from Ninjago?

Tough call, but I'd say the Ninjago guys (who I know basically nothing about) if I'm right in believing they control whichever element they are aligned with. If they do have that ability, my vote goes to them. If they don't have that ability, then my vote goes to TMNT.

I definitely don't consider this "case closed" but I'd like to suggest a match-up for the next one after everyone's had their say in the "TMNT vs. Ninjago" debate. My match-up would be Invisible Woman (comic version) versus Black Canary of DC comics. Given that sound travels through Invisible Woman's force fields, Black Canary could still use her powers offensively, but that still definitely doesn't count Invisible Woman out.
Curiouser and curiouser...

Invisible Woman would win that round, thanks to a specific trick she has rarely used (because it can be fatal).
It's hard to clarify, but she doesn't make her forcefields as durable when encasing living beings in them.

But with Black Canary, she'd have to use this trick to disable her foe.

What she does is make the forceshield completely solid, preventing nothing from going in or coming out.
Normally, oxygen passes through the shield, but when it's solid, there does not happen.

In this case, she encases the head of the target in the solid field, they run out of breathable oxygen and pass out.

It's a bit hard to scream if you can't breathe, especially if you've just drawn in a huge breath of air in order to do so.
So Invisible Woman would win.
