Small but PowerfulDefeat 7 enemies in your dinghy.When sailing in your dinghy on Pantano Bayou there are various pirates you will see along the river. Fire your dinghy cannon at them until they are defeated. You need 7 to get the Gold Star
All Hands on DeckSail out of an island with your friend on your ship.For this Gold Star you will need a second controller and a second Pirates of the Caribbean Figure. Join the game with the second controller and figure and get on your boat. Once you set sail from the port you will get the Gold Star
Island ExplorerVisit each of the small islands.There are 6 small islands to visit; Devil's Bow, Citadel Coast, Isla Enoja, Port Talon, Light Haven, and Siren Song. Dock your boat at each port of the small islands for the Gold Star but don't forget to get the couple Capsules on each.
You can also climb up to the Crow's Nest and it will show you all nearby islands as well as their names to help you keep track.

Blasting Is the Only Way!.
You need to throw 100 Pirate bombs for the Gold Star although it doesn't matter if it's at an enemy or not. If you don't have it after defeating Davy Jones just throw them everywhere until it unlocks. It also carries over to a new game so if you start a new game on the Play Set without earning the Gold Star the amount you have thrown will not be erased.

A Captain Needs a Ship!Mission given by Mr. Gibbs
Crow's Nest ClimbClimb up to your ship's Crow's Nest.When on your ship climb up the rope on the main mast nearest the helm. There will be another rope to climb and you'll be in the Crow's Nest.
Down to the DepthsSink 30 ships.While sailing the seas there will occasionally be other pirate ships sailing around. By sailing near them you can initiate combat. Use your cannons to sink them and once you sink 30 the Gold Star will unlock.
Salty Old SailorSail your ship for a total of two hours.This is the Gold Star that requires the most grinding. All you have to do is be sailing in your ship for a total of 2 hours. There is no counter or anything that keeps track so just keep sailing and be patient. The time also carries over between games so if you start a new game in the Play Set and still don't have the Gold Star your total time will continue instead of starting over.

Back to Your Locker, Jones!There Be Gold, Mate!Find 10 treasure chests.Hidden all around the Play Set are many treasure chests. Hit them with your sword or shoot them and they'll open for some experience points and some coins. There are way more than 10 so no need to worry about scavenging the area for them.

Done Ye Goes!Use a Deck Cannon to sink a ship.When in combat with a ship get off the helm and man any cannon on the deck yourself. Sink an enemy ship and you'll get this Gold Star. If you're having trouble with this go after the smaller ships or have a friend steer the ship for you while you fire.

One Ship, Many FacesChange your ship's appearance 5 times.Below the helm you can customize your ship. Change any of the pieces to anything you'd like and do that 5 times.
Creatin' a CrewCustomize 10 townspeople.When on Buccaneer Bay pick up any townsperson and throw them into a clothes store to customize them. You can customize 10 different townspeople or the same one 10 times.

Darken the Sails!Find all the black ship pieces an' make yer ship all black and all Jack's.There are 5 pieces of the Black Ship set. There is 1 on Buccaneer Bay, Pantano Bayou, and Fort St. Grande. There are 2 on Dead Man's Cove. After collecting the capsules on each of the areas customize your ship using all 5 pieces.
