Stand alone figures will not be cheaper. A figure is a figure your buying that character to play in game, wether its allowed into a play set does not factor into anything.

yeah your buying some Disney history its a great price just for the figure not to mention all the in game stuff you get with it ^^ thankfully im hear at the birth of infinity =D
