My favorite is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jurassic_Park:_Operation_GenesisI still have my greatest achievement park stored somewhere on my hard drive.
I found it a great game, full of interesting challenges.
For example, you could put around 7 Carnosaurus in a pen as long as there was plentiful food, but three allosaurus or t-rexes weren't nearly so socialable (i ended with one less dinosaur when I tried it).
Also, I did get the change to indulge a twisted sense of humor.
One of the messages I recieved was that the visitors complained they couldn't see enough dinosaurs.
So I put a dinosaur hatchery out near the visitor areas and instructed it to hatch a herd of harmless small herbivores (roughly the size of a goat or sheep).
Then I watched the little adorable dinosaurs walking around with the people.
Complaints about not being able to see dinosaurs ended.
Although there was a small increase in reports of terrified visitors.
I guess you can't win.
They should count themselves lucky I didn't have a larger dinosaur roaming free!
I always did wonder what would happen if you let a sauropod roam around, but given that it could accidentally kill visitors by stepping on them, I never dared to try it.
They seem pretty docile though, most of the herbivores tend not to bother visitors.
As long as I avoid the more aggressive herbivores that is (the ones with armored bodies).
Once I put the biggest sauropod I could in with the T-Rexes to see what would happen.
Keep in mind, T-Rexes and sauropods never encountered each other in real life.
A fully grown brachiosaurus (if angered) would stomp a T-rex into the ground. Literally.
Their defense method was to rear up and then bring their front limbs crashing down onto their enemies with all the weight of their body.
If you were an carnivore, your bones would shatter from the sheer force of the impact.
I guess they knew better then to pick that fight, they left it alone.
